Good training today. Only had a shake for lunch and I felt pretty amped up during training. Had a chic today cutoff my Ab routine. I was going back and forth between hanging leg raises and weighted situps. I did my set of situps and head back to the squat rack to do another set of leg raises..sure as shit she just pulls down my arm straps and starts loading the bar. I walk up with a quizzical look and she says "oh im sorry I was going to squat" Well NO SHIT....I grabbed my shit and left. If you ever have the chance to train at Martinez Gym on Schofield Barracks...Don't. I silently wished that the broad who cut me off would snap her ankles squatting in Nike Shox...Is that wrong? Or was I wrong for doing leg raises in the squat rack in the first place? The great ponderances...
Between the rudie-poos and the "Beast Mode" Bro's I'm about fed the fuck up with my Local gym. Let's not forget the 40 something dude who "trains" with the crossfit women in the evening. The ONLY dude. It wouldn't be so creepy if the girls who train there are barely out of their teens. I take offense to this type of shit because I do indeed have a teenage daughter and If I found out there was a creepy 40ish something dude watching her do burpees I'd be mighty fucking pissed. Just me. I am 30, I promise that I will have my own gym before I am 35. A small part of me doesnt mind going to a public gym, the staff at Martinez are actually pretty legit- they usually "forget" locker fees and such. They dont mind the chalk dust I leave at the squat rack and keep the equipment in good shape. I dont mind being around people who are motivated- regardless of what they train for, as long as that training has a purpose. It's the 'Bro's", the 'Hoes' and 'thousand yard stare' wannabe badasses that make me sick. What can you do right?
