Another excellent day of training. Today is my 3rd day of carbnite and to paraphrase Paul Carter I want to punch babies. 30 grams of carbs a day is no fucking joke. Its absolutely nuts because despite feeling tired and sluggish going to the gym, once I get to training Ive got plenty of energy on tap. I felt well "supercharged" so to say. In keeping with monday I decided to max out today. I was extremely nervous due to issues with my back. Bench press is one thing but hinging the spine is another. I made it easily to 350 for one. I definately had another 5, which means I had another 3 for 385 and I KNOW for DAMN SURE I could pull 405. Needless to say it was a good day.
No conditioning today. Getting up at 0400 then maxing in the afternoon has got me a little burnt. My caffeine intake has been through the roof just to keep hunger pangs at bay. FAT IRISH COFFEE. That's all I have to say.
